Under new legislation from 1 August 2007, all home owners in England and Wales will need to prepare a Home Information Pack (HIP) before putting their home up for sale. This is a set of documents providing important information about a property such as searches, copies of the deeds and information regarding its energy efficiency.

Russell & Russell have been appointed Early Adopter status by the Government. We are participating in the national voluntary Dry-run to make information available to the Government on the use of Home Information Packs and so increase confidence in the mandatory operation of the scheme. We hope to continue to support the Government throughout the Dry-run.
